Intro: Getting Started
What do you think about Roberto De Vicenzo's decision to give the woman money and his later reaction when he found out that there was no sick child (p 3) ?
I think that it was very nice of him to give the lady money, even though the lady told him a lie just to get his money. If I were him I would have been mad that I was just lied to my face for money but he didn't because that's how nice he was. The man showed how caring he was when the man told him that the lady told him that story only to get his money he didn't get mad he just asked if there was a dying baby and said that's the best news all year.You could tell that the man followed Jesus because he didn't feel bad of the lady lying he just cared about the baby. So that's what and why I think he is a good person and a follower of Jesus.
I think it was wrong of the woman to trick him. He was trying to help her and her baby, only to realize there wasn't a baby. Roberti De Vicenzo was being very kind because he was helpin save a life. Hearing that there was no life in danger probably was better news to him than someone tricked you. He also didn't yell at the girl who tricked him either, proves that money isn't everything.
i think it was totaly wrong that this female tricked him. all he wanted to do was help his baby, but then hw relized and found out their is no baby.a girl should not trick a man like that all she prob wanted was attention. this proves that men are better then women
It was wrong of the women. You should never trick someone to get something out of it. I don't see why you would say your child is sick to get money! There are some sick people out there, the guy that gave him money is not one of them. The women is one of them. He was trying to save a baby and that is a really good thing to do. I can't believe the mom would do such a thing.
Even though that the lady had fooled Roberto De Vicenzo about the sick child, he still felt happy that he did that. God always told us to love your enemies and forgive them if they do wrong things. God forgives us time and time again despite our dishonesty, deseption, and sinfulness. Roberto De Vicenzo's compation reminds us how God deals with us. We should all do the same thing that De Vicenzo did, forgive our enemies.
